- Designed and implemented the full data collection and preprocessing pipeline.
- Built a CNNโTransformer hybrid (ViT-style) architecture for image-to-GPS regression, reaching ~27 m RMSE.
- Developed attention visualization methods to analyze model behavior, improving RMSE from ~32 m to ~27 m.

Flexible Exploring Robot Implementation

- Led a five-person team to design a robot for exploring confined spaces (caves, pipes) with 3D modeling.
- Designed sparse point cloud completion algorithms based on Polynomial Regression, SVR, and Newton Interpolation.
- Accelerated the pipeline on low-performance platforms via parallel computing.

Bird Expulsion System Implementation

- Built an embedded Raspberry Pi system to detect, track, and expel birds with species-specific mechanisms.
- Modified YOLOv5 with an alpha-IoU bounding-box loss, an extra segmentation head, and additional feature layers.
- Designed a distributed GPU-host + Pi architecture for efficient real-time detection and tracking.

- Led a five-person team to compare CNN and SVM solutions for fruit / vegetable image recognition.
- Produced a report on algorithmic foundations (SVM, PCA, etc.) and benchmarked across methods.
- Deployed the recognition models on a Raspberry Pi for real-world inference.
